About Me

My name is Paula Taylor and I am a qualified counsellor with experience in helping children and young people deal with a range of difficulties or problems they may have in their life.  

I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) working in accordance with their Ethical Framework.  I attend regular clinical supervision and I am committed  to my own continuous professional development. I am also DBS checked and fully insured.

Training and Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Counselling Children and Young People (MSc)

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling Children and Young People (level 7)

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology (BSc Honours, First Class)

  • For the past two years I have been volunteering at a youth counselling service in Northampton.

  • School Liaison Officer, Buckinghamshire County Council

  • Extended Services Manager for Northamptonshire County Council – supporting children, families and schools through a range of managed projects to address barriers to learning.

  • Pastoral Support in a Secondary School.
